In case you haven’t noticed, yesterday we decreased the size of the font you see in the text of our articles. We feel this gives it a more accessible and appealing look.
While we were partly spurred to make the change as a result of comments from readers, we could always change it back, and we are continually looking for ways to make our website best serve you. If you don’t like the change or have any thoughts, please let us know by emailing me at [email protected] or commenting below.

Huh??
step 1: press control
step 2: scroll mouse wheel up or down
problem pretty much solved.
(For being a top university, the dum.bass quotient is pretty high around these parts).
1. the tagline/beat font size should be reduced accordingly
2. i think there are too few articles available on the section-specific pages. http://www.dailycal.org/news/ for instance. scrolling down the entire page only yields 10 articles. if you look at http://www.latimes.com/news/local/ for example, you can see about 10 articles without scrolling, then many many more by scrolling down.
3. the three featured boxes on the top page can’t accommodate more than three lines of text; for instance, the wild bees article currently at the top goes over the boundaries of the box
