AC Transit makes changes to bus schedules for start of school year

As a new school year begins in the East Bay, a new effort to make riding the bus more convenient for students and families is underway.

AC Transit made small adjustments — which took effect Sunday — to better coordinate bus schedules with the start of the school day, according to a Friday AC transit press release. None of the changes to supplemental bus lines should affect schools in the Berkeley Unified School District.

Parents can search for the lines that serve their children’s schools here, as well as a summary of the all the changes here.
