Be sure to see UC Berkeley’s Theater Department’s latest main stage show, “Attempts on Her Life.”
“Attempts,” by British playwright, Martin Crimp, was first seen as a production done by the Royal Court in 1997 and since has been translated into twenty languages. The play deals with the heavy concept of how human identity survives and persists when it is faced with definition. The show is usually formatted in such a way the audience is given some power in how they perceive what a play is and how characters function within that fictional reality.
The show will be directed by TDPS faculty member, Scott Wallin and performed by Berkeley students. The show runs from October 7-16, 2011 and will be held on campus at Zellerbach Playhouse.
