While many shows are usually accessible for most people, there are many shows that are only for those of a certain age. Those of us who can’t legally enjoy alcohol are out of luck for this week’s local shows, but the ones older than the magic number have two chances this week to check out some awesome local bands.
This Tuesday, The Stone Foxes will be playing their final San Francisco show of the year at the Independent. This will be your last chance to catch the dirty blues quartet before they take a touring break. If you didn’t see them at Outside Lands — or even if you did — go check them out!

Oakland’s Uptown nightclub will feature SF locals The Hundred Days this Friday. The group’s indie/dance combo make them a groovy band to dance to on a Friday night. Plus they do it all without the help of a DJ. When you go clubbing, do you prefer a DJ or a live band?

This week’s album releases come in a variety of genres. Drake’s new album Take Care comes out this week. Gym Class Heroes also have an album coming out as well. The Papercut Chronicles II marks the band’s fifth album. Which of the two albums are you more excited for?
