The location of the semester’s last ASUC Senate meeting, at which UC Berkeley Chancellor Robert Birgeneau is scheduled to speak, has been changed to the Berdahl Room in 105 Stanley Hall.
The meeting, still scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, was originally scheduled to take place in the senate chambers on the first floor of Eshleman Hall — the usual site of senate meetings.
However, ASUC President Vishalli Loomba announced in an email to ASUC senators Wednesday that the location had changed. CalSERVE Senator Anthony Galace said in a Facebook post that the location was switched to the Berdahl Room “due to Accommodations with Chancellor Birgeneau.”
According to a blog post from CalSERVE Senator Andrew Albright, Birgeneau will speak for 20 minutes and answer questions for another 20 minutes.
Because of a lawsuit recently filed against the campus, Birgeneau will not be discussing the events of Nov. 9.
