Police are looking for a man they allege brandished a knife at a victim Thursday south of the UC Berkeley campus.
According to a UCPD crime alert, at about 7:49 p.m. the man brandished the knife at a victim not affiliated with the campus at 2345 Channing Way, near the intersection of Channing and Dana Street.
Officers from Berkeley Police Department responded to the scene but did not locate the suspect, whom the victim and witness identified as Paul Dennis, according to the alert.
The victim was not injured in the encounter, according to the alert.
