Undergraduate admissions decisions for the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business were released Friday at noon.
The business school — ranked third in the nation for its undergraduate program, according to the U.S. News and World Report — accepted 269 out of 580 applicants this year, according to Erika Walker, executive director of the business school’s undergraduate program.

Since only about half of applicants were admitted last year with an average GPA of about 3.7 according to the school’s website, prospective Haas students were understandably anxious about the results. For those accepted, it was a day of celebration.
Congrats to Fraters Nik Crain, Jon Myers, and David Fink for being accepted into the Walter A. Haas School of Business! #gobears

However, Walker said the admissions decisions are still “pending spring performance.”
