Annotated agenda for Feb. 28 Berkeley City Council meeting

The agenda for Tuesday’s 7 p.m. meeting of the Berkeley City Council includes topics ranging from national debates to local issues.

Proposals for leasing Old City Hall after it is vacated by Berkeley Unified School District later this year will be referred to the city manager, as well as the proposals developed by the Telegraph Livability Coalition. Resolutions decrying corporate personhood and unfair student loan policies are also on the consent calendar. On the action calendar, Council is set to discuss expanding the types of plastics that the city recycles and as potential November election ballot measures related to infrastructure funding.
