A bill will be introduced to replenish a fund for student grants and independent hearing officer Lee Maranto will speak to the ASUC Senate at its meeting Wednesday night.

The ASUC Public Service Fund allows students and student groups additional funding to encourage groups to participate in philanthropic or humanitarian based projects, according to the bill. The bill would replenish the fund by $1500.

Per usual process, the bill will be passed on to committee for further discussion and will likely be considered by the entire senate at a future meeting.

Maranto — hired as part of the revised Campus Code of Student Conduct — is scheduled as a guest speaker at 8 p.m., according to the agenda. Lee is charged with presiding over all student conduct hearings, among other duties.
