So breaking news: Cal’s own Nathan Adrian stole the gold medal in the men’s 100m free earlier on Wednesday, edging out Australia’s James Magnussen by a mere hundredth of a second. Adrian’s time: 47.52. Magnussen: 47.53. That’s how America does it, and that’s how Cal does it.

But Adrian isn’t just good at racking up hardware; he’s also easy enough on the eyes to garner a one-off modeling stint. How the better majority of the Cal community has gone so long without this on its radar is beyond me. But here you finally have it: Adrian, along with the other members of the silver-medalist 4X100 freestyle relay, posed in Glamour magazine’s July issue. And they were fortunately willing to share more than their tried-and-true training tips.

But why should I try and sum it up in a few paragraphs, when a picture speaks a thousand words?
