A weird way of counting medals… you basically counted the same relay four times.
How’s that? Nathan Adrian was in the men’s relay. It was also a count of the number of medals awarded and not events won or placed.
“Medal count” in terms of events won has always been a rather strange thing. I’d argue that something like a relay counts as much as an individual race, but winning an Olympic team-sport tournament should be worth more.
