The Cal football team takes on Nevada in the 2012 season opener.

Follow along as Daily Cal football beat writers Jonathan Kuperberg and Michael Rosen and sports editor Annie Gerlach give play-by-play and analysis of the Cal-Nevada game live from Memorial Stadium. Today’s game marks Cal’s return to Memorial Stadium, which underwent a 21-month, $321 million renovation. But that puts more pressure on head coach Jeff Tedford, whose team lost to the Wolf Pack in their last matchup two years ago. Kickoff is set for 12 p.m.
