UC Berkeley Haas School of Business Dean Rich Lyons spoke to The Wall Street Journal last week about the business school’s move toward financial independence from the University of California — a discussion prompted by an ongoing attempt by the UCLA Anderson School of Management to become financially self-supporting.
Lyons told the Journal that other than its undergraduate business program, Haas is already moving in the direction of financial freedom.
