Tuesday marked the first day the UC Board of Regents’ three-day meeting.
The board is scheduled to meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of this week to discuss a wide range of issues, including campus climate and student safety policies, as well as potential strategies to address the UC’s budget shortfall that would result if Proposition 30, Gov. Jerry Brown’s tax initiative failed to pass by a majority vote in the Nov. election.
