The Cal football team hosts No. 2 Oregon in its home finale.

It’s the last hurrah for football beat writers Connor Byrne, Jonathan Kuperberg and Michael Rosen. Assistant sports editor Seung Y. Lee joins them in the press box for play-by-play, analysis and snark during Cal’s final home game of the 2012 season against No. 2 Oregon.

Linebacker Chris McCain and the Cal defense look to slow down the nation’s most prolific offense, while tight end Richard Rodgers could be an x-factor amid a depleted receiving corps. With the Bears currently sitting at 3-7, Jeff Tedford’s hot seat is approaching boiling — is it possible that this could be his last home game as head coach?

Kickoff at Memorial Stadium is 7:30 p.m.

The good news is that the attendance tonight can’t have been overlooked by Barbour.

Looks like NO ONE wanted to witness Tedford’s big giant turd that he shat upon us tonight.

Tedford is, and has been for several years, the highest paid employee on the State of CA payroll.

Because he only lost by 6 touchdowns and failed to cover the spread by 2 TD’s? Not likely but how sad it is that we’re paying a coach $3 million per year and we’re congratulating him for only losing by 6 touchdowns.

That speaks volumes about how badly we have to make a change and fire Tedford’s worthless ass. This is the top rated public university in the world for God’s sakes, it’s about time we acted like it in football.
