Jeff Tedford, head coach of the Cal football team for the last 11 seasons, was fired Tuesday after multiple discussions with Athletics Director Sandy Barbour.

That last tweet from Tedford was from Nov 7, which was the week of the Oregon game. Way before he got fired.
