Celebrate the third annual Oakland Restaurant Week. More than 20 restaurants will offer special menus priced at $20, $30 or $40 for dinner.

Workshop: How to get started in undergraduate research

Unsure of how to get involved in research? Attend this workshop, available to undergraduates of any major, for tips on finding a faculty mentor, obtaining funding and more.

4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in 9 Durant Hall.

Film: ‘Willow Springs’

Directed by Werner Schroeter, this film depicts three women who turn an abandoned shack in the Mojave Desert into a the home of a Charles Manson-type of commune.

Faculty Club at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $5.50 for BAM/PFA members and UC Berkeley students, $9.50 for adults and $6.50 for UC Berkeley faculty, seniors and youth.

Music: UnderCover Presents Joni Mitchell’s Blue

Watch local Bay Area bands perform songs from Joni Mitchell’s album Blue.

2020 Addison St. at 8 p.m. (doors open at 7 p.m.). Tickets cost $22.50 in advance or $24.50 at the door.
