The Berkeley City Council postponed voting on the “Telegraph ACTION plan” at its meeting Tuesday evening.
Action on the plan, a list of short-term improvements for Telegraph Avenue proposed by Councilmember Kriss Worthington, has been held over for the city council’s meeting on April 30th for further discussion.
The plan incorporates suggestions from groups like the Telegraph Livability Coalition. Improvements in the plan include outdoor merchandise tables for retail stores, increasing the visibility of parking and a monthly music festival. Worthington’s proposal estimates investment costs of about $50,500.
