Recently, a Facebook page called “UC Berkeley Missed Connections” was created. The page includes posts from various anonymous UC Berkeley students describing attractive people they’ve met and “missed a connection” with. The posts are generally geared toward describing objectively attractive people and their physical features. Here are our favorites:
The stalkeresque approach:
No, that doesn’t make you seem desperate! We definitely think you should go up to this person and tell him he’s the cutest guy you’ve ever seen in real “lyfe.” And definitely don’t forget to give him the choice of dating or at least being friends with benefits! It’s okay. We understand. You’re not wimpy — you’re just horny!
Someone who really “felt” it:
This student “ranted about fridges.” So why did she have so much trouble breaking the ice?
Exactly what you’d expect from a UC Berkeley student:
Does this one even need an explanation?
Someone who may or may not have “missed a connection” with a very important person:
Um, we think this guy’s taken. Better luck next time, Love Bear.
