A tale of 2 toppings

You’re walking up Bancroft after an intense workout at the RSF when you spot Yogurtland out of the corner of your eye. You don’t even feel guilty as you walk into the store and start filling up a paper cup with the classic plain tart yogurt — it’s fat-free and affordable, after all.

You start by adding some fruit to your yogurt. But then you see the cookie dough and brownie bites innocently sitting next to the bins of fruit. “You deserve it,” you tell yourself. “You worked out hard.” A couple spoonfuls of cookie dough and chocolate chips later, the cashier sticks a pink or green spoon into your cup and rings up your total. You whip your credit card out of the zipper pocket of your Lululemons to pay for your yogurt , which ends up costing $4.86 and probably weighs in at nearly 500 calories.

With the mochi, chocolate and cheesecake bites, your frozen yogurt snack was probably not quite as healthy as you thought it would be.

We at the Clog investigated and found some of the most calorific, unhealthy toppings Yogurtland has to offer. If you do want to to get a healthy pick-me-up from a froyo place, you may want to avoid these add-ons:

1. Macadamia nuts: 200 calories per ounce, 21 grams of fat
