- Tanay Nandgaonkar, ASUC senator and sophomore, feeds a carrot to a llama with his mouth. Llamas were on campus to advertise “Questival,” a 24-hour race in which teams compete for trips, gear and more.
- The final steel beam for Eshleman Hall’s frame rests in front of Zellerbach Hall in a ceremony Oct. 14 commemorating the ongoing construction on Lower Sproul. Students were allowed to sign the beam.

- CALPIRG offers an opportunity for students to register to vote near Sather Gate on Monday. Representatives from CALPIRG and the ASUC worked on the New Voters Project, which aimed to register 10,000 students to vote by Monday’s registration deadline.
- With a new recommendation, Berkeley may pounce on a more fur-friendly regulation that would prohibit a no-pets policy from landlords. This eager pup on Sproul seems pleased at the prospect!
