Male student assaulted in front of Clark Kerr Campus on Sunday

An 18-year-old male UC Berkeley student was assaulted in front of Clark Kerr Campus on Sunday morning, according to a UCPD crime alert released Monday.

At about 3:26 a.m. Sunday, the victim was walking down Warring Street when he encountered five to six males. One of the suspects allegedly punched the victim in the mouth. The victim sustained injuries to his face from the assault.

After breaking away from the men and returning to his residence, the victim informed campus police, who searched the area along with Berkeley police. Police were unable to find the suspects.

The suspects are described as five to six Hispanic males, with no further description.
