An April back-and-forth article in the Weekender contained multiple inaccuracies and paraphrased the words of the interviewee rather than quoting the subject verbatim, as back-and-forth articles are required to do. Altering or falsifying quotes violates The Daily Californian’s policies and, more broadly, journalistic ethics. After this was brought to our attention, the Senior Editorial Board unanimously voted to remove the article from dailycal.org.
