Sweet and savory nachos recipe

Everyone knows that nachos are the ultimate game day food. They’re easy to make and can be thrown together quickly using the ingredients you already have at home. Follow this recipe for sweet and savory nachos that are sure to impress everyone you have over to watch the game. Don’t hesitate to spice them up by adding in your favorite extra nachos toppings.

Sweet nachos

What you’ll need:

Tortilla chips

1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips

1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup almond butter

Cinnamon

Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal

What you’ll do:

  1. Place chips in bowl.
  2. Melt chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl or mug. Microwave for about 1 minute, depending on microwave strength.
  3. Pour melted chocolate chips onto tortilla chips.
  4. Pour almond butter on tortilla chips.
  5. Use hands to mix the chocolate and almond butter so they coat the chips.
  6. Add cinnamon to taste.
  7. Sprinkle Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal onto chips, mixing in as desired.

Savory nachos

What you’ll need:

Tortilla chips

2 cups pepper jack cheese

2 cups canned black beans

1/2 cup canned green chiles

2 avocados

Onion powder

Chile powder

Hot sauce

What you’ll do:

  1. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Place chips on top of the paper on the sheet.
  3. Grate pepper jack and sprinkle on chips.
  4. Add black beans to chips.
  5. Add green chiles to chips.
  6. Bake in oven for about 10 minutes on 400-degree heat, or until cheese melts.
  7. Chop avocados and add to chips.
  8. Add onion and chili powder to taste.
  9. Sprinkle with your favorite hot sauce.
  10. Transfer chips into bowl and mix.
