BPD requests help identifying rioters from Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park demonstration


A Nixle alert sent out about 7:19 p.m. Thursday evening by Berkeley Police Department requested community members’ assistance in identifying three men who are wanted for alleged violent assaults from an earlier Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park demonstration.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park demonstration April 15 drew a number of assaults and physical confrontations from counter-protestors, according to the Nixle alert.

BPD requests that anyone with information in regards to the three men contact detective Tim Gardner at (510) 981-5816. BPD also requested videos and photographs of those that may have committed crimes during the demonstration via the link, http://bit.ly/berkvideo.
