Cal women’s soccer junior defender Indigo Gibson will join the U-23 Women’s National Team for training camp in Seattle, Washington, from July 21-28. Gibson is one of eight total Pac-12 representatives on the 24-player roster.

Gibson has attended two USWNT U-19 camps prior to being selected to the U-23, the first during her 2014 and the second during 2015.

During her junior campaign, Gibson had 18 starts and two assists and during her sophomore campaign recorded all 22 starts on the year with three assists. As a freshman, she led Cal in assists, started in nine games and had four assists. Gibson’s dominant performances have led her up to this point in her career and she will be playing for the oldest age group of the USWNT.

The U-23 team will go against the Seattle Sounders Women of the WPSL on Monday, July 24 at the Husky Soccer Stadium at the University of Washington.
