Missing woman in Berkeley located

Lala Wallace, who was previously reported missing by Berkeley Police Department has been found, according to a Nixle alert issued Thursday night.

BPD issued a Nixle alert early Thursday evening asking the community for its help locating Wallace, who had been reported missing. About 8 p.m., BPD issued a second alert notifying the community that Wallace had been located.

Wallace, 74 is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and is “known to wander to convenience stores and hospitals,” according to the alert. BPD released a Nixle alert in October when Wallace was last reported missing.

The alert also said BPD still needs help finding Leon Sellers, who was reported missing Thursday morning.
