Editor’s note: Dead week deductions

We all do RRR Week a little differently. Some of us take the majority of the week off, only to gather our thoughts up the weekend before finals and hope for the best. Others are more ambitious, locking themselves away in the depths of Main Stacks for the whole week. And then, of course, there are plenty of people riding on different places along the spectrum in between.

But, in the end, we all come together in our inability to resist the indulgence of a little procrastination. Everybody needs a study break (or several), and these can easily range from quick naps or Netflix binges to weekday parties or shopping sprees. Though really, the best kind of break is one that’s fun, not too time-consuming and still mentally engaging.

We at The Daily Californian are here to meet your study break demands — not only with playful, Berkeley-inspired puzzles to keep your brain stimulated even during break time, but also with offerings of thoughts, advice and reflections on just how we might all survive dead week.
