As I understand it, the lower tax rates for corporations has no expiration, but almost all of the minor changes to personal income taxes expire by 2025. The $10K cap on state and local income tax deductions is not indexed for inflation.

The benefits for the middle class will be temporary, and if you live in California, you won’t even see a temporary benefit. The benefits to corporations will be permanent.

This is just too funny. I’m not trying to be mean, but this is hilarious. I’m truly starting to realize how screwed a lot of these Berkeley students will be when they try to get jobs. They will be employed because they are obviously intelligent, however, the wiring of these students thinking will surely never help them in life. Every single article is about being the victim or someone being a victim.

We just had some guy writing an editorial on how prop 13 should be repealed to make everybody pay more taxes. Maybe Joel should go talk to him

The fact that some of us pay more taxes in a MONTH than these grad students will pay in a YEAR is lost on you…
