Berkeley resident killed in Oakland shooting Saturday

A man killed in a shooting in Oakland on Saturday night has been identified as 30-year-old Berkeley resident Dominique Johnson, according to Oakland Police Department spokesperson Johnna Watson. 

The shooting occurred in the 2200 block of Brush Street at 10:28 p.m., Watson said in an email.  The man was taken to a hospital, where he later died of his injuries.  

No arrests have been announced and no suspects have been identified by the police, according to a Berkeley Patch news alert. Watson said that the investigation is still ongoing.
