UC Berkeley employee pushed on campus in alleged battery

A battery involving a campus employee occurred about noon Thursday, according to public log information provided by UCPD spokesperson Sgt. Sabrina Reich..

The victim, a 44-year-old male who is employed by the university, was allegedly pushed near the University Hall Public Health Library, according to Reich.

The suspect is described as a slim white male aged 20-30 years, 5 feet 11 inches in height with short brown hair, according to the public log. The log reported the suspect as wearing a green jacket and gray sweatpants, and carrying an army duffel bag.

The alleged battery is under investigation, according to Reich.
