Berkeley resident William Carter, 29, was arrested by UCPD on Jan. 22 on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, grand theft, probation violation and elder abuse.

Carter allegedly took the victim’s cane while the victim was walking on Grinnell Path and used the cane to assault the victim, according to UCPD spokesperson Sgt. Sabrina Reich. UCPD apprehended Carter about 3 p.m., shortly after the assault took place.

The district attorney’s office is charging Carter with one account of assault with a deadly weapon and one account of elder abuse, Reich said.

Just another day in the leftist paradise of Berkeley.

Good lord that town is a dump.
