Berkeley Police Department sent out a Nixle alert about 9 p.m. Tuesday asking for help locating an “at-risk” person.

The alert identified the woman as Lala Wallace and described her as a Black woman who is 5 feet 5 inches in height, weighs 110 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. Wallace was last seen wearing a long-sleeved turquoise shirt, a red wool vest with black trim, black pants and short black boots, according to the alert.

Wallace, who is 74 years old and has dementia, was last seen by her brother about 12:22 p.m. at her home on Stuart Street, according to the alert.

Wallace has gone missing in the past, including in October and November of last year. The alert stated she has been located previous times in Oakland.

BPD is asking anyone who sees Wallace to call the department or the nearest local police agency.
