Jordan Brown — a five-star prospect out of Prolific Prep who Cal basketball was targeting — has elected to join Nevada and become a part of the Wolf Pack.

Last weekend, Brown was scheduled to take an official visit to Nevada. While he would cancel the official visit, Brown went on an unofficial tour of the campus, posting a picture on Instagram of him on campus.

With the signing of Brown, Nevada now possesses the Mountain West’s best recruiting class, according to 247Sports’ draft calculator.

Barring any further commitments or decommitments, Cal’s incoming class of freshmen will feature four-stars Jacobi Gordon and Matt Bradley and three-stars Andre Kelly and Connor Vanover.

Rising redshirt junior Paris Austin will join the team next year as well after transferring from Boise State.
