Two separate street robberies occurred in Berkeley in the past two days, according to a Berkeley Police Department Nixle alert sent about 1 p.m. Thursday.

Two suspects approached and pointed a gun at a man walking on the 1800 block of Addison Street about 9:47 p.m. Tuesday, according to the alert. The suspects demanded his property and were last seen running north on Grant Street.

In a separate incident, a vehicle pulled up to a 28-year-old woman waiting at a bus stop on Hearst and Euclid avenues while she was using her cellphone, the alert said. The suspect punched the woman in the head until she could no longer hold on to her phone.

The woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries, according to the alert. The suspect drove away, heading east on Hearst Avenue.
