Cal men’s basketball has suffered another huge blow as Connor Vanover and Juhwan Harris-Dyson have both entered the NCAA transfer portal, as first reported by Stadium’s Jeff Goodman.

In recent weeks, Justice Sueing, Darius McNeill and Roman Davis have all entered the transfer portal as well.

In 28 games, Vanover averaged 7.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. The 7’3” center upped his production toward the season’s end, averaging 12.0 points and 4.8 rebounds while hitting 37.8 percent of his 3-pointers in his last 11 games.

Harris-Dyson’s production noticeably dipped during his sophomore season after a promising freshman campaign. The guard averaged 3.5 points and 2.0 rebounds and shot 38.7 percent from the field, all of which were down from his first season.

With Vanover and Harris-Dyson only in the transfer portal, they still have the ability to return to the program.
