A Berkeley resident who declined to identify himself ties a ribbon to an artificial pomegranate placed on Memorial Glade by the UC Berkeley Armenian Student Association. The pomegranate, a symbol of Armenia, was meant to commemorate the Armenian Genocide during Genocide Awareness Week.
