Man Shot in South Berkeley

A 22-year-old male was shot this afternoon on the 2900 block of Sacramento Street.
At about 12:49 this afternoon, the Berkeley Police Department responded to calls of shots fired on the sidewalk outside 2902 Sacramento.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found the victim inside Johnson's House of Style, a barbershop at 2914 Sacramento. The victim was transported to Highland Hospital in Oakland by the Berkeley Fire Department.
Witnesses to the incident said that after being shot on the sidewalk, the man struggled to the barbershop.
Berkeley police Officer Andrew Frankel said no one has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
According to Frankel, police are yet to identify a motive.
