The headline for Monday's article "First Student in Over Two Decades Runs for Berkeley City Council" was incorrect. In fact, Jason Overman would be the first student elected to the council since 1984. Then-student Andy Katz ran for City Council in 2002. Also, the caption for the article's photo switched the names of Jason Overman and City Councilmember Kriss Worthington.

The photo caption accompanying Monday's article "Experienced and Talented Bears Poised for '06 Season" incorrectly identified Marshawn Lynch as a senior. In fact, he is a junior.

The Daily Californian regrets the errors.
