Recharging batteries The Bears wrapped up a seven-game home stand that spanned eight days on Saturday with a win over Utah. While Cal has only dropped one set this year – the first against Stanford last Tuesday – the Bears looked sluggish against the Utes and Colorado this weekend.

Correy (not) in the house Outside hitter Correy Johnson saw very limited action this weekend, as she was nursing a sore hip. The junior didn’t play in the Bears’ opening match, was used in sparingly for the next two and didn’t even suit up for Cal’s final match.
