The city of San Francisco celebrated this weekend with its annual San Francisco Pride Parade, which was attended by more than 1 million people with over 250 contingents.
Over the weekend of June 3 and 4, the Bay Area Book Festival took place throughout Downtown Berkeley. The festival featured carnival rides, author talks, book giveaways and other opportunities for writers and readers to connect.
For 30 years, Berkeley has held a Juneteenth Festival to celebrate African-American culture.
