Player of the Week: Kat Brown

Middle hitter Kat Brown is at the core of the Cal volleyball team’s blocking regiment, and came up big for the No. 4 Bears this weekend. Cal blanked then-No. 15 Oregon on Friday night, and earned a 3-1 victory over Oregon State on Sunday afternoon.

The Bears posted an overall .269 hitting percentage on Friday night, while Oregon hit a lowly .042.

No. 4 Bears prepare for No. 15 Ducks

Two problems have plagued the No. 4 Cal volleyball team for weeks — serving and passing.
