Freshman star, but Cal women’s swimming falls to third at Pac-12s

Though No. 2 Cal finished third in the Pac-12 championships on Saturday, the Bears sent a message that the freshman class will be a threat for many more years. Freshman Elizabeth Pelton led the Bears in the effort to defend their Pac-12 title by setting an American record in the 200 back for the title.
