A man was the victim of a strong arm robbery Monday on Southside, according to police.

A 22-year-old man was walking eastbound on Dwight Way — near the intersection of Dana Street — when he was approached by two men who blocked his path and demanded his property, according to a UCPD crime alert.

The victim complied and handed over his property, according to the crime alert. The suspects were last seen running westbound on Dwight, according to the crime alert. The victim was not injured during the encounter.

Officers from the Berkeley Police Department searched the area but could not locate the suspects.
