SAN FRANCISCO — For the first time, the Daily Cal will be covering TechCrunch Disrupt, one of the premier technology conferences in the world, from San Francisco. The conference invites aspiring startups, influential speakers and many more to make this a must-follow event for anyone interested in the latest crops of technology.

Christine Tyler and Kevin Foote will be live blogging from the conference from Saturday to Wednesday. On Sunday, Disrupt finished its 24-hour hackathon and announced the winner for the $5,000 prize. On Monday, the first day of the conference will begin, including a talk by California Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom on education and tech. On Tuesday, numerous startups will be presenting their products to the audience. Please follow the live blog and ask questions for our reporters to ask surrounding startups and speakers!
