ASUC SUPERB is bringing Campus MovieFest (CMF) to UC Berkeley for its ninth year. The world’s largest student film festival in the world, CMF opened submissions between Oct. 16 and Oct. 23, providing cameras, laptops tricked out with editing software, training, tech support and more to anyone who wanted to participate. The task: make a five-minute movie in seven days.
The best 16 films will be screened this Friday, Nov. 1 at the big Red Carpet Finale in Wheeler Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Winners have the opportunity to win big. Thousands of dollars in cash, industry exposure, Hollywood pitch meetings and other massive prizes are all on the line.
