A man exposed himself to two female students at Cheney Hall in Unit 1 on Wednesday night.

About 11:09 p.m. Wednesday night, UCPD responded to a complaint from the two students, who were in the lobby of the building when they noticed a man exposing his genitals and masturbating outside the building’s glass doors, according to a UCPD crime alert released Monday. The victims were not physically harmed in the encounter.

Shortly after the crime was reported, UCPD apprehended and arrested a man who matched the suspect’s description outside of Davidson Hall in Unit 2.

The man, identified as Jacob Hansen-Joseph, was later taken to the Berkeley Police Department’s jail, according to the UCPD Daily Activity Bulletin.
