Afterward, the suspect fled the scene southbound on Etna Street. Berkeley Police Department searched the area but was unable to locate the suspect. The victim suffered minor physical injuries that did not require medical attention.
The suspect, according to the crime alert, is described as:
A Hispanic male in his mid-20s to 30s, with a heavy build, 5-feet-8-inches in height, with a small goatee, wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a dark-colored baseball cap.
