It’s April — which means that if you’re not looking for a job or internship, you should’ve started looking yesterday. Or maybe you’ve already applied to a bunch of jobs but haven’t heard back yet. Or maybe you don’t need a job. In that case, we’re not sure why you clicked on this post.

But we’re getting off topic. An integral component of the job-hunting process is the infamous cover letter. The cover letter is your chance to shamelessly promote yourself to your potential employers and convince them you’re the right person for the job. This is a unique opportunity, so don’t screw it up like this guy*:
