A 20-year-old male student was the victim of a strong-arm robbery on Sproul Plaza on Saturday night.

The student saw three males standing by their bicycles as he walked southbound past the Golden Bear Cafe around 10:42 p.m. One of the men demanded the student’s property, according to a UCPD crime alert released Monday. The suspects then allegedly knocked the victim to the ground and punched him. They took his property and fled west on Grinnell Path on their bicycles, police said.

The victim was not physically injured during the robbery. UCPD could not locate the suspects in an initial search of the area.

According to the crime alert, the three suspects are described as black males with medium to skinny builds, around six feet in height and wearing dark pants and hooded sweatshirts that were black, gray and red.
